The 4 things that matter most
- Type + year: e.g., Morgan dollar 1881.
- Mint mark: small letter near the date or on the back, depending on the coin.
- Condition: wear level changes value dramatically.
- Metal: silver or gold bullion value can set a floor.

- Front + back, straight-on (avoid angles)
- Close-up of the date + mint mark area
- Edge photo if it helps (reeding/plain edge)
