Trading Cards Value Guide

Estimate trading card value with a simple process: identify the set, check condition, and compare recent sold prices.

The 5-step value check

  1. Identify the game or sport, year, and set name.
  2. Find the card number on the back when possible, plus any special variants.
  3. Assess condition: corners, centering, surface scratches, and whitening.
  4. Check sold comps for the same card and condition.
  5. Decide a selling route: raw, graded, or bundle.

Photos that help identify the exact card

  • Front + back, straight-on, to avoid distorted angles
  • Close-up of card number, set symbols, and holographic details
  • Close-up of each corner to show whitening or bends

When bundling can be better

Many low-to-mid value cards sell faster as bundles by team, set, or character.
